Approximately 11km from Eganshouse, Malahide Castle can be reached by taking the DART from Drumcondra station or a bus from Drumcondra road. Malahide Castle is set on 250 acres of parkland with a story dating back to the 12th Century. Located along the beautiful north Dublin coast and close to the picturesque seaside village of Malahide.

The castle is fully furnished with beautiful period furniture and an extensive collection from the National Gallery of Ireland. The ornamental gardens adjoining the castle are best described as a small botanical garden, with more than 5,000 different species. There is also a visitor centre and Avoca Cafe on its grounds so something for everyone!
