Howth Fishing Port and Walk
Howth fishing port is easily reached by the city DART train (approx every ten minutes from the city centre stations — Connolly, Pearse, or Tara Street).

Howth Head gives fine views of Dublin Bay and the Wicklow Mountains or Boyne Valley beyond. In the bay is the rocky bird sanctuary and monastic island of Ireland’s eye, to which boat trips may be taken in summer. Cliff paths lead around the coastline, through Howth village and its ruined abbey, and past Baily Lighthouse. It is also a good destination to cycle to from the City Centre. And it is famous for its Fish and Chips as well as seals in the bay.
